Seaside to Whistler BC


After Seaside our first stop before starting our long camping trip on our drive to Alaska was Whistler B.C. Canada. 

We went to Port Townsend and stayed with friends there for a night then drove down the sound and took the ferry to Widby Island.  

This is a bridge we crossed still in Washington State.  





From there we drove to Whistler and spent two days there. During that time we walked around the really cute town and did some hiking. Whistler was home of the Winter Olympics in 2010
My dad went paddle boarding on a small river, while we explored nature. 




There are some gorgeous mountains and there is still snow in some places. We even got to eat at a yummy bakery with lots and lots of pastries and treats!
