Alaska

During the last 2 months we have enjoyed a fun and relaxing time here in Alaska.

For the first couple of weeks we helped decorate, do music and teach the 4’s and 5’s
class for VBS at the Soldotna Bible Chapel which is our supporting church Alaska.

My Dad also shared about our ministry and preached one Sunday.

How we set the tables with homemade salsas for our presentation of Zacatecas.

There is a link to Josh's Sunday morning message in the side bar under read the word, listen to the word on the right side of the blog if you would like to listen to it.

Then we got to enjoy fishing. I had a blast with my Dad and uncle Joel when me and my cousin Mereiedi got to go king fishing. Even though we had to get up at 4 in the morning it was worth it when we both caught our first kings ever! To top it all off Mom and Hattie caught kings too.

We have been having lots of fresh salmon lately. Red salmon fishing was really fun too.  I really hope I can come back to Alaska and fish again someday.

Along with fishing there was hiking and biking which was so beautiful, challenging and rewarding at the same time.  Hattie and I had a really good time with the youth group and had the privilege of going to a wilderness camp in Tok, Ak, where they taught us how to share the gospel. It was a very refreshing time and we had lots of fun meeting other teen kids who had a desire to serve the Lord.

Dad and Mom last biking trip before we left. On Resurrection Trail.

We have made lots of new friends here and have truly enjoyed Alaska. Lord willing we will be able to return again one day.

We are now making our way towards Oregon.
Look forward to a new post in a couple weeks!
