California to Oregon

We left Arizona and headed to California. We stopped midway and paddled on the beautiful Colorado River.

     

Then on to Huntington Beach to see Josh's 
Uncle Brian and Aunt Betty.

The girls went to help Aunt Betty for the day 

at an assisted living home.

We also enjoyed celebrating Grace's 14th Birthday.
She choose Cheesecake Factory.

From there we left and went to Fresno to see Heathers Grandma, Uncle Simon and Aunt Susie.  

Excited to get home we left Fresno early Thursday morning for the 10 hour trip to Eugene.  Of course we had to stop 
for a few hours at Lake Shasta. 

 From there the 4 1/2 hour drive was awesome.  The snow covered mountains, rolling green hills and so many trees are all something we haven't seen in a few years.

We arrived safely at 10:00 PM at Heather's Parents house.

We then enjoyed celebrating Hattie's 12th birthday on May 20th and will take a short travel break for a week and a half while we visit some family and prepare to travel to Alaska!
