I enjoyed the opportunity last week to take Hattie on her surprise Mom and Daughter Night. This is something Josh and I decided to do when the girls are between the ages of 9 and 10. It is a special time planned to take about girls things, growing up, becoming a women and their future call to be a Godly women.
Hattie and I started the evening at La Terrasse a quaint hotel in downtown Zacatecas. Hattie was soooo surprised and excited as she knew her time had arrived when we got to the hotel As you can tell by these pictures she was overjoyed!
From there Hattie chose coffee time for her 15 questions from Mom. These are questions just about Hattie. Her interests, fears, aspirations etc...If your interested in the questions we use I can send you a copy if you email me.
Then a stop at the store for evening snacks!
Of course when we got back to the hotel,
Hattie had to have a shower as there is real hot
wáter pressure and the shower cap!
After the shower we got ready for girl talk,and prayer time.
The evening was beautiful and this was the view from our room.
When girl talk was over we enjoyed all the snacks and a movie.
In the morning we packed up and left the hotel for breakfast and a
devotional on becoming a Godly women.
We had a great time build this relationship, learning and growing together.
What a blessing to have 2 girls and enjoy this special time with each of them.
