Graduation -4 year bible students in front of us (language students)
Grace and Hattie were a part of the Christmas musical at our church in Texas on December 11th.
On the set after the musical
We left Edinburg Texas at 10:00pm on Sunday night, the 11th of December. With all of our belongings, the girls and our friend Nelson from Chili, who was going to be spending the Christmas break with us, packed into our car. We made it home the 22nd of December after making stops in Tucson, AZ, Huntington Beach, CA, San Francisco, CA and Gold Beach, OR. Praise God for His protection as we drove and the joy of our travel and time together on the way home.

God provided again as less than 3 days before we were leaving Texas Josh was checking out the car and found that our brakes were almost completely out. He was able to replace them in the shop on campus and we praised God we were able to catch this issue with our car just in time.
Since the 22nd of December we have been with family.
We spent Christmas with Heather's parents, grandparents and Aunt and Uncle and then spent the 4 days after with Josh's entire family including his brothers family who came to visit from Alaska with their 4 kids.
We then spent the next 4 days with Heather's entire family celebrating the new year together. The first week of January we had an opportunity to go to Eagle Crest with just our family and our friend Nelson. It was a great time of rest, time with the Lord and break from lots of people:)

Proverbs 20: 21
Many are the plans in the mind of a man but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
Isaiah 40:31
They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
We look forward with great excitement in writing you and sharing how the Lord provides the way for our family to go to Ecuador.
We ask that you pray specifically with us for the Visa paperwork which provides the way for our family to go to Ecuador.
Also pray for us to wait patiently and stay grounded in the Word as a family while we are living in transition during this time.
for His glory,
The Dunn's

Hey guys! We were so hoping to read that you had tickets and were leaving. We are definitely praying that all the necessary paperwork comes through SOON for your family. It seems to us that alot of missionary life involves hurrying up and then....waiting! We too have been waiting to get all of the paperwork for our vehicle including insurance straightened out yet here we are, almost a month later, still waiting. Anyway...praying for you and as always encouraged by you with the reminder that it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand! Blessings! The Houghs
