Christmas Eve

On the Road again... I think we have used that line before.

Well, we are getting ready to embark upon another move. We are moving to Texas for 2011 to attend Spanish language school at Rio Grande Bible Institute, which is a Spanish speaking seminary and language school for missionaries. It has been an amazing opportunity to see the Lord work in the last few months as He has provided our base monthly support for us to go to language school. God has been showing us in so many ways that He again has a plan for us that we did not think possible. We have been blessed by many of you who are partnering with us in our ministry and we truly appreciate your sacrifices and gifts!

We will be leaving from Heathers parents in Eugene around 5:00 am on January 2nd. We need to arrive in Edinburg, Texas on January 7th. On our way to Texas we look forward to seeing much of Heathers extended family in Fresno California for a night as well as Josh's Aunt in Southern California. We will be towing our trailer again and pray for an uneventful drive! Josh's parents will be with us in Texas to homeschool the girls as both Josh and I are attending class for 4-5 hours a day. We are looking forward to learning the Spanish language well and being able to use it daily as the population in Edinburg is 90% hispanic. We will also be attending a spanish speaking church weekly.

Please pray for us as we:

Travel- for dry roads and safe driving as well as vehicle and trailer maintinance.

Transition- into a new home and environment...again.

Josh and Heather prepare to study and learn lots of Spanish!

Grace, Hattie ,Grandpa and Grandma Dunn spend lots of time together doing school.

Thank you for your prayers!
Have a Christ focused day!
for His glory,
The Dunns

  1. Praying for you guys as you start your long drive :) I didn't realise that Jim and Terry would be moving with you. I would be nervous about jumping into a Spanish town, church, and school! My prayers are will you guys.
