We finished our year at TMM on August 7th with graduation. We were sad to leave our cabin but excited to begin our journey to Ecuador! On our trip home we are stopping many places and thankfully none of them hotels:) We started the trip with a night to relax after graduation at our friends the Coles in Robbinsvillle. The girls enjoyed swimming in the pool and we were able to relax before we began some long days of driving. We then headed to the Vaterlaus home where we stayed next door with the their friends the Lewis's. The Lewis's were missionaries for many years and have now started their own ministry by opening their home to missionaries in need of rejuvenation and rest. Monday we went to the Creation Museum courtesy of the Vaterlause's. It was refreshing to see a museum that clearly declared truth!

After the Museum we headed to our friends the Shiltons in Grandville Michigan. We met the Shiltons at BMW orientation and became fast friends. 
The Shiltons are preparing to go serve in Sweden as full-time missionaries.
Swimming in Lake Michigan
Friday we went to Orion Michigan and are staying a few days with the Yates family. Josh went to college and roomed with Josh Yates in his Western Baptist days. Sunday we will go to Chicago and visit our friends the Stutzmans from Salem that are attending Moody Bible College. Tuesday evening we will head out for a major part of the drive during our trip home to Salem. We hope to go from Chicago to Billings MT in one drive. Just outside of Billings we will stay a day with Ted and Elaine Inabnit. Parents to our friends from Atlanta Tim and Sarah Inabnit. From Montana we will head to Spokane on Friday to spend a few days with our good friends the Rainbows. I went to college and played volleyball with Jenni Rainbow. We hope to start the last leg of our trip on Tuesday with a short stop in the Tri-Cities to see Josh's cousin Ryan Vogt and his family. Lord willing we will arrive at my parents home in Eugene on Wednesday August 25th. As you can see our trip is full and busy. We have enjoyed the time so far and look forward to more great fellowship along the way. We look forward seeing family and friends and hope to be at our home church Salem Evangelical on Sunday August 29th.
